Abstract:

We are used to thinking about scopes measuring signals in the time domain. Sometimes, by transforming these signals into the frequency domain, we can get to the right answer faster and extract the important figures of merit of the signal. Looking in the frequency domain can help us find the root cause of a problem.

This webinar will introduce a few important principles to help you get the most out of your time and frequency domain measurements and analysis of signals. We’ll apply these techniques to look at high bandwidth signals, noise sources, power rails and near field rf pick up.
